Dr. William Parsons is a board-certified dermatologist with extensive experience in medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology. He is passionate about providing high-quality, patient-centered care and is dedicated to helping individuals achieve and maintain healthy skin. Dr. Parsons has proudly served the San Antonio community since 1984. His formal education and training include:

Dr. Parsons is a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology (AAD), the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery (ASDS), and the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery (AACS). He is also an active member of numerous professional organizations, including the American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery (ASLMS), the Texas Dermatological Society (TDS), and the San Antonio Dermatological Society.
Before entering private practice, Dr. Parsons served as an officer in the U.S. Army Medical Corps, where he held leadership roles as Chief of Dermatology Service and Director of Emergency Medicine Services at R.W. Bliss U.S. Army Community Hospital in Fort Huachuca, Arizona.
In his spare time, Dr. Parsons enjoys exercising, traveling, reading, driving cars, and watching competitive sports. While his favorite part of his job is getting to know his patients, if he could have a second occupation, he would be an architect or have a career in a sports-related field. He recommends wearing sunscreen every day and believes sun protection is better than any cosmetic.
